Who is Marcel?

Au comptoir MarCel is the result of the union between Marco and Céline, a couple driven by their shared passion for food and wine.

The restaurant offers creative cuisine with Portuguese influences, where classic dishes are reinterpreted while showcasing local produce. Each homemade dish tells a story that reflects both their origins and the flavors discovered throughout their travels.

Montreal chef Marco spent ten years travelling the world, perfecting his skills. His simple and authentic cuisine showcases Quebec's local produce and draws inspiration from his Portuguese heritage and European culinary traditions.

Céline, originally from the south of France, grew up surrounded by vineyards and the Mediterranean and developed her passion for wine through her professional experiences. An experienced sommelier, she creates a wine list based on her discoveries, highlighting producers who share her values.
